About Me

Madeline Gaffney

Hi, I'm Madeline Gaffney, JD, M.Ed.

I am passionate about helping people build stronger relationships with themselves and others. Before becoming a therapist, I attended the University of Texas School of Law and practiced as a corporate attorney for four years. Throughout my time as an attorney, I repeatedly found myself drawn to working with people rather than contracts.

That realization led me back to school, where I earned my Master's degree in Couples, Marriage, and Family Counseling from the College of William & Mary.

Today, I work with individuals and couples who want to better understand themselves, strengthen their relationships, and create lasting change. In session with me you can expect a person-centered approach with a focus on mindfulness and attachment.

I believe meaningful change begins with feeling understood. My goal is to create a space where you can show up honestly and explore the experiences, relationships, and patterns that have shaped you. Therapy isn't about having all the answers, it's about understanding patterns and building awareness so you can make intentional choices that move you toward the life you want to create.

When I'm not working I enjoy hiking, singing, painting, and exploring other creative outlets.
